Conditions
These Rules and Conditions are specific to Dance Summer Camp 2025 (also known as DSC), which will take place in Almornos, Sintra, Portugal, between the 1st and 3rd of August.

The DSC event and all its services and activities will take place at the Almornos campsite, at Parque de Campismo, 2715-405 Lisbon (also known as Parque).

Minors may only participate in the DSC with written authorization from their legal guardian/guardian. The Liability Term will be sent by email to participants who are under 18 years of age on the date of the event and must be submitted in its original format on the day the participant presents himself/herself at the DSC. If the Term is not submitted, responsibility must be assumed by an accompanying person who is also participating in the event, otherwise the minor will not be able to participate.

The entity responsible for organizing the DSC and selling its tickets is the Associação Cultural e ArtÃstica Via Urbana, registered as a non-profit association with headquarters at Rua 5 de Outubro, 11 loja esquerda, 2845-365 Amora, Seixal, with the Corporate Taxpayer Identification Number 514 109 190 and telephone contact +351 933 466 955 and email geral@viaurbana.pt .

The Dance Summer Camp participation agreement is considered complete when the following criteria are met:
The Participant has read and understood the offer of activities and conditions presented at www.dancesummercamp.pt (referred to as the Website).
The Participant chose the ticket option, accepting its cost and filled out the online form available on the Website with their personal and contact details.
Only the Participant who completed the registration form may request any change or cancellation thereof.
The Participant has paid for his/her registration fee by the day he/she appears at the DSC.

This Agreement shall terminate when the Participant terminates its participation in the DSC and ceases to use its services.

Due to the legal nature of the entity organizing the DSC, the amount corresponding to the cost of participation is exempt from VAT, under article 9 of the CIVA.

DSC Organizers are not responsible for any extra costs, exchange rate differences or bank charges deducted during the ticket payment process. During the payment process, only the actual and final amount credited to the organization’s bank account will be honored.

By registering for the DSC, the Participant guarantees that he/she is in good physical and mental health to participate in all activities described in the official event program.

The DSC Organization is responsible for ensuring that the activities comply with the offer presented, as well as the quality and standard of the services offered. In the event of a discrepancy between the actual situation and the offer, the Participant must immediately inform a representative of the Organization so that it is possible to act accordingly. The Participant may also report the situation via email to dancesummercamp@viaurbana.pt .

Due to the artistic nature of the services offered at the event, the DSC Organization reserves the right to change the dates and times of dance classes and other activities listed in the schedule, changing their order and changing artists/teachers who teach classes or perform during the event at any time, before or during the DSC event. The above-mentioned changes cannot be used as a basis for complaints or cancellation of participation by the Participant.

The Participant is obliged to follow the instructions received from the DSC Organization regarding the performance of the event lineup activities.

The Participant will be responsible to the DSC Organization, its representatives and partners for any material damage caused during their stay.

​The DSC Organization reserves the right to terminate the participation agreement with immediate effect, without any financial consequences for the DSC Organization and its partners, with a Participant who has significantly or persistently violated the instructions and rules defined by the same.

The DSC Organization is not responsible for theft or damage to luggage or other property, especially those caused by the Participant's negligence.

Registration for the event is equivalent to reading, understanding and accepting the Terms and Conditions as well as the rules for participation in DSC activities.

The Participant has the duty to obey the orders and instructions of the DSC Organization, instructors, teachers and staff at the event location.

An appropriate pass or wristband is required to attend/participate in DSC alignment activities.

Passes/wristbands are individual - their resale or transfer to other people is prohibited and will result in the Participant's participation being cancelled by the DSC Organization.

Representatives of the DSC Organization have the right to check the Participant’s identification document to validate their identity and ownership of the pass or wristband.

It is prohibited: to buy, obtain and drink alcohol and other drugs by Participants under the age of 18. The use of drugs and consumption of alcohol and tobacco in general is not recommended by the DSC Organization, regardless of the age of the Participant.

Registration for the DSC is equivalent to agreeing to the free and irrevocable use for marketing purposes by the DSC Organization and the entities collaborating with the organizer (for example: sponsors or Park management) of photographs and video materials containing the Participant's image. The agreement covers the use, preservation and reproduction of photographs and videos by any means for any purpose compatible with applicable law, including publication in newspapers, magazines, electronic publications, websites, exhibitions, competitions, TV and outdoor advertisements. At the same time, the Participant agrees to waive the rights relating to the approval of all use of photographs and videos of his/her image. This term applies both to the present event and to the communication of future editions.
